Funding changes for TDSB Alternative High Schools are resulting in the loss of nearly 10% of the amazing teachers our students rely on. The Save Our Alt Schools volunteer team is embarking on a social media campaign to demonstrate how important alt schools are to our students and our community. And we need your help!

Alternative school educators and staff are equipped to help students deal with mental health issues that might otherwise keep them from reaching their potential.
Self-Directed Learning
Students can take control of their education at TDSB alt schools to gain new skills and experiences they might miss out on in traditional schools.
A Sense of Community
Not everyone feels at home in a "regular" classroom. Many alt school students, alumni, and teachers speak fondly of the feelings of community and family at their schools.
Acceptance and Opportunity
Who you are and the battles you're fighting shouldn't get in the way of a good education. There's a place for everyone at TDSB alt schools.
